Getting Started

Do you offer emergency services?

Yes, our normal business hours are 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM. However, we have an answering service that will be able to receive your calls after hours.

Do you do other things besides plumbing?

Yes, we are a full-service plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractor. We repair/replace almost any item in your home, to include water heaters, toilets, sinks, boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, and all the pipes in your basement.

How long have you been in business?

Wayne J Pisanchyn Inc Plumbing & Heating has been in business since July 1991.

How to find a water leak?

Leaking toilets are one of the most common sources of high water bills. We use a food grade dye to determine if a toilet is leaking.

Why is my furnace blowing cold air?

Furnaces blow cold when heat is not generated in the fire box or through the heat exchanger.

How long will a water heater last?

Water heaters have a life expectancy in our area of 7 to 10 years.

Why does the toilet keep running?

Inside the toilet tank there is a flapper or gasket that closes after the tank has been emptied of water. This gasket can become defective due to the clorine in our water.

How often should you service your A/C?

Your A/C unit should be service once a year.

Why is my faucet leaking?

All faucets have a seat, washer or o-ring. Constant usage causes these parts to wear.

What can I put in my garbage disposal?

Citus rinds, eggs shells, cooked meat scraps, fruit scraps, vegetable scraps.

What can I NOT put in my garbage disposal?

Fruit pits, large bones, shrimp schells, banana peels, nuts, potatoe peels, rice, pasta, aspargus, onion skins, and corn husks.
